Shakespearience! The 8th graders made their annual trip to Alex Theatre for the Shakespearience field trip. Our Kindergarten and First Grade students gathered at the Anita Torosian Literacy and Resource Center for Chamlian’s Annual Pajama Storytime! Our youngest Tigers enjoyed their Friday afternoon together with a delicious meal, decorations, and exciting guest speakers who read to them! Thank you to all who volunteered their time and entertained the children with colorful stories and helped to nurture their love of books and reading. The final round of the Geography Bee at the school-wide level was held today! Students from 6th-8th grade who had moved forward to the school-wide level of the Bee participated in seven exciting rounds. 8th grader Nicholas Hagobian was declared our 1st place school-wide champion! Nicholas will take a written test for an opportunity to move on to the next round at the state level. Our fifth graders had an informative visit from the Glendale Fire Department and learned about fire safety. Our students were introduced to all the protocols followed as well as proper equipment used when dispatching fire fighters to help with an emergency. Our Tigers then had the opportunity to ask any questions they had! A very exciting and educational experience!

Chamlian is proud to have hosted a bagel and hot chocolate sale to support the Armenian Educational Foundation in our continued partnership for a worthwhile cause!
The Armenian Educational Foundation, Inc. (AEF) has been a cornerstone of the Armenian educational movement around the world. It has lent a helping hand to hundreds of students and to dozens of schools in numerous nations. Through its many years of giving, it has proven to be one of the most enduring and productive organizations in the Diaspora. A backpack filled with notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpener, pencil pouch, markers, crayons, colored pencils, arts and craft material, calculator, highlighter, etc will enhance and promote education and learning for our dear brothers and sisters. We are grateful for the opportunity to do our share!

Our 7th & 8th graders benefiting from the Junior High Mid-Year Refresher. As they prepare for higher education, our Tigers spent the afternoon discussing leadership, academics, STEAM, steps to success, and overall Chamlian Pride!
