On Friday, December 15, the Anita Torosian Literacy & Resource Center officially opened its doors to our students! As a part of this celebration, the day consisted of different authors and literary enthusiasts presenting their love of books and storytelling to the students. #ChamlianPride

Chamlian Armenian School opens the doors to the Anita Torosian Literacy and Resource Center; a state of the art addition to the world of education and our community. On Thursday, December 14th, 2017, Chamlian Armenian School hosted the grand opening of their state of the art library, the Anita Torosian Literacy and Resource Center, located on their campus at 4444 Lowell Ave, in Glendale, Ca.

You are cordially invited to celebrate the growth of Chamlian Armenian School as we showcase our new Anita Torosian Literacy and Resource Center with a special unveiling ceremony on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 6:00 PM.

Chamlian's STEAM elective class hosts an interactive hands-on demonstration to our Kindergarten class! As part of the Steam course, 7th grade students designed a coding program that connects everyday objects to control the keyboard with the internet.

On Friday, December 1, 2017, Chamlian Armenian School held its 4th annual Christmas Lighting Event, organized by the school’s Parent Support Committee.

3rd Grade Fieldtrip to the Chumash Tour! The Chumash Village Tour is a 5-station interactive outdoor tour designed to bring the Chumash Native Indian culture to life!

On Tuesday, November 21st, our 1st grade "Little Scientists" participated in an interactive experiment at our Science Lab! They had the opportunity to use some of the science tools to observe several different fruits.

On Tuesday, November 21, 2017, Chamlian Armenian School's Parent Support Committee (PSC) hosted the much-anticipated annual Thanksgiving Luncheon for the students with a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. The students got into the holiday spirit as they gave thanks for all their blessings. The Kindergarten, First, and Second grade students welcomed the annual tradition by wearing their hand-made pilgrim hats and bonnets. Eighth grade students also wore festive hats while they happily served the meals to the K-2nd grade students.

On Friday, November 17, 2017, members of the Armenian Club visited several local Armenian landmarks and establishments. The trip included visits to the Pasadena Armenian Genocide Memorial, The Asbarez Newspaper office, Horizon Television Station, AYF Camp office, AYF Juniors office, AYF office, ANCA-WR office, and Homenetmen office. The students also had a great lunch at Carousel Restaurant in Little Armenia! We are very thankful to all who greeted us and taught us about everything they do for our community! #ArmenianClub #ChamlianPride

On Thursday, November 16th, Chamlian former student and Cancer survivor, Cynthia Keylian, hosted an 8th grade assembly on her non-profit organization called Beads for Battle. Beads for Battle is a non-profit Cancer support organization that aims to spread hope and positivity to everyone affected by the disease. Ms. Cynthia Keylian shared her personal journey on her battle for fighting cancer and staying strong.
