Our third graders were honored to be joined by Glendale Mayor, Mr. Zareh Sinanyan. Students deepened their knowledge on local government with a question and answer session after which Mr. Sinanyan was given a tour of our campus. We are glad to have had this informative and unique experience!

The NEHS Police Department Outreach Committee visited the Glendale Police Department this morning bearing gifts and treats. The students met with members of the Police Department and learned about the history of their community and discussed ways to be lifelong servers of their community and conscientious citizens of Glendale.

Our 4th graders were honored to be visited by Mr. John August, who spoke about his book series, Arlo Finch, as well as the process of writing a book, encouraging students to embrace their creativity and follow their dreams! Students were captivated by his presentation and eager to read about Arlo's adventures!

One of multiple fundraisers, our Armenian Club members worked tirelessly at our Donut Sale in a dedicated effort to help raise funds for the Armenian American Museum Telethon! Chamlian is very proud to be part of such a fantastic project!

Dr. Aboulian and Dr. Shekherdemian discussed topics associated with adolescence and puberty. Our students gained plenty of knowledge about this stage in their lives and we are so appreciative of our presenters and their informative presenting as well as our Counseling Department for organizing this great opportunity.

What a *sweet* day! Our administration enjoyed some refreshing ice cream with our students in order to help raise funds for this amazing project!

Our Tigers enjoyed a special lunch in honor of Chinese New Year! This delicious treat was organized and served by our dedicated moms who not only served us lunch but also decorated our cafeteria for the occasion as well!

In an effort to spark students' interest in spelling and expanding their vocabulary, Chamlian conducts an annual Spelling Bee competition open to students in grades 4th through 6th. To begin, each classroom conducts an internal spelling Bee, after which each teacher submits the names of three finalists to compete in the school wide competition. We are proud of all our finalists and our first place winner, Kaitlyn Baghdassarian, who will go on to compete in the L.A. County Spelling Bee! Dr. Kargodorian was very proud of all our students and congratulated everyone for their hard work and dedication!

We are very proud of each and every one of our Tigers for this great accomplishment and are confident that this is only one of many successes our Chamlian Tigers will achieve. A special thank you to our amazing Keynote Speaker, Dr. Bianca Grigorian, who is also a proud alumna of Chamlian Armenian School, for delivering such an inspiring speech to our scholars!

Our Tigers came to school dressed up as 100 year olds to celebrate the milestone of accomplishment, learning, and success! It's safe to say it was one of the most adorable days Chamlian Armenian School has had!
