Our 8th graders enjoyed their outing at Keush Ranch, creating new memories that will continue to cement the lifelong Chamlian bond. From a dissection project, to the Build-A-Tiger activity, to a fascinating educational, Poetry in the Park, and team building exercises, it’s safe to say our graduating class had an unforgettable day! Chamlian Armenian School had the distinct pleasure of welcoming Mr. Artur Khachatryan, MP of the "Hayastan" faction of the Armenian National Assembly. Mr. Khachatryan met with the graduating 8th Grade class and shared updates about Artsakh and Armenia. The students were moved by his relatable and inspiring talk and engaged in a Q & A session regarding the recent events that transpired in our Homeland. The 5th Grade team embarked on a scientific journey to the California Science Center and explored exhibits which complemented their curriculum. Students investigated and experienced the inception of biological life, ecosystems, air and space, and were able to get a special tour of the space shuttle Endeavor up close and personal. Lastly, students experienced an iMax of under the sea where they understood the importance of human impact in the aquatic world of oceans. 🔭🪐🚀#CaliforniaScienceCenter #FieldTrip #5thGrade

To better support our students in regards to personal health, the Counseling Department organized an information session "Adolescent Development" specifically for the 5th grade with Dr. Adrine Yadegarian and Dr. Chris Aghayan. Chamlian Armenian School had the honor of welcoming Glendale Mayor, Mrs. Paula Devine, to our beloved school. After being greeted by Dr. Kargodorian, Mrs. Arpa, and Student Club Members, Mrs. Paula Devine was given a tour of campus and had the opportunity for a Q & A session with our second graders, as a component of their civics lesson and curriculum.
