Our 2nd graders had a wonderful visit to Tree People this week! The outdoor hands on learning experience showed them ways to appreciate nature, protect the environment, and the importance of planting trees. Our TK and Kindergarten students and their parents enjoyed #FunFriday at Underwood Farms! They participated in an Animal Presentation, Tractor Tour, Veggie Picking and Animal Feeding. The Chamlian Booster Club launched their Canned Food Drive today. Each grade level will be collecting a different food item in their homeroom classes through Monday, November 15. All foods will be donated to the Armenian Relief Society for their community food drive. Beautiful Chamlian Artsakh T-shirt design contest winners are 8th graders Talia Ashrafian and Lena Bagumyan. Students can wear them on Spirit Days and P.E. days in November. Our 8th graders working tirelessly on their STEAM projects for Armenian Cultural Day. They are using recycled materials to create 3D models of the “We Are Our Mountains” monument in Stepanakert. The students have prepared informative QR codes on the models for an interactive viewing experience. The Artsakh theme celebration is set to take place this Friday and Saturday, where you can visit the Anita Torosian Literacy & Resource Center to see the Artsakh exhibit. 3rd grade students expanded their knowledge and understanding of animal adaptations with a visit from the Wildlife Learning Center.
