Hello! I'm Mrs. Salin Voskanian, a teacher with a heart full of passion for education and an unwavering commitment to student success. With over 18 years in the teaching profession, my journey has been one of continuous growth, discovery, and joy.

Work Experience

Chamlian Armenian School (2015-present): My current home where I've spent 9 vibrant years crafting memorable learning experiences. Prior to that my experience included:
 

  • Science Education for Grades 3-8: I embraced the challenge of making science accessible and engaging for young minds. From conducting experiments to leading outdoor explorations, my aim was to spark curiosity and a love for inquiry.

  • Adult Education: As a GED instructor, I supported adult learners in achieving their educational goals. This role honed my ability to tailor lessons to meet the needs of learners, proving that it's never too late for education.

  • Elementary and Middle School Teaching: In a comprehensive role, I navigated the multiple facets of educating young children across all fundamental subjects. It was here that I developed my knack for crafting interdisciplinary lessons that cater to varied interests and abilities.


Hobbies/Interests

  • The joy of discovery and learning with my students is unmatched. It's where my heart lies.
  • Reading: A lifelong learner, I'm always buried in a book.
  • Arts & Crafts: Creativity in action, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Family/Friends: The core of my support system, providing love and laughter.
