As a 4th grade teacher at Chamlian, I am deeply invested in awakening an appreciation for literature and language in young minds. Beyond the confines of my classroom, my educational philosophy is inspired by Plutarch’s insight, seeing my role as igniting curiosity and passion rather than merely passing on information.
With the additional role of Model UN Advisor, I'm eager to introduce our students to the intricacies of global diplomacy, further broadening their academic and worldly understanding.

Work Experience: Since joining Chamlian in 2015, I've dedicated myself to teaching for fourth graders, fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. My previous roles at Mesrobian and Tavlian Preschool have also contributed to my teaching approach, allowing me to cultivate a supportive atmosphere for students, which is conducive to their learning and growth.
Extracurricular Activities: My involvement extends beyond academics into Homenetmen, AYF, and various educational committees, where I mentor, guide, and inspire youth in diverse settings. Coaching basketball and teaching Armenian cultural dance are among the ways I connect with and contribute to our community’s vibrant culture.
Interests/Hobbies: My personal pursuits, including traveling, hiking, camping, reading, and participating in Armenian cultural dances, reflect my love for adventure, learning, and cultural heritage. These passions not only enrich my life but also infuse my teaching with real-world experiences and enthusiasm.
Guided by the belief that education is about inspiring a lifelong journey of discovery, I am committed to fostering an environment where curiosity thrives, and learning becomes a gateway to endless possibilities.
“Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel.” - Plutarch
