I am Ms. Selin and I have been a part of the Chamlian family for four years. During this time, I have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages. My passion is working with our younger learners. I find it truly fulfilling to support my students in their educational development and journey. As a teacher, I strive to create an encouraging and positive classroom environment to nurture the wonderfully curious minds of my students. It is my pleasure to be an educator.
Education:
- Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Creative Literacies from California State University, Los Angeles.
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in English from California State University, Northridge.
Experience:
- 2021 - 2023: Teacher's assistant in TK, Kindergarten, 3rd, and 1st grade classrooms
- 2023 - 2024: Substitute teacher in kindergarten - 4th grade classrooms
- 2024 - present: 1st grade teacher
Hobbies:
- I will forever be hunting for the following three things: the coziest coffee shop/cafe, the yummiest cup of coffee, and the yummiest slice of pizza!
