Ms. Tania Tchakerian

Hello! As a dedicated 4th grade teacher at Chamlian Armenian School, my greatest passion lies in fostering the growth and development of my students. Being part of their educational journey, filled with discovery and learning, brings me immense joy and satisfaction every single day. I hold an M.A. in Education, a B.A. in Liberal Studies, and a College Certificate in Preschool Administration and Management, which have all shaped my approach to teaching and learning.

I have had the privilege of nurturing young minds across several Armenian schools, and my experiences have helped me hone both my skills and my passion for education. At Chamlian, every day is a new adventure, filled with opportunities to inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and build confidence in my students.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active—whether it’s playing basketball with my students, hiking, or traveling to explore new places. Traveling, in particular, allows me to discover different cultures and histories, which I bring back into the classroom to provide fresh perspectives and enrich my lessons.

Inspired by Roberta Ford’s words, my goal is for my students to leave my classroom feeling valued, prepared, and confident in their abilities to face the future. I strive to instill not only knowledge but also self-worth and resilience in every child I teach.
