School Safety

 

At Chamlian Armenian School, nothing comes before the safety of our students. Our campus is designed to be a safe haven, with security measures like locked gates, surveillance cameras all around, and a dedicated security guard available during and after school hours till 5:00 pm.

 

Visitor Check-In: Before setting foot on campus, all visitors, including our dear parents, need to meet with our security guard. You'll need to share why you're visiting and then head to the main office to sign in. Remember, you'll need an appointment to come by.

 

Emergency Preparedness: Our team is well-prepared for anything — from earthquakes to the unthinkable. We've gone through emergency training covering all bases and have emergency supplies ready to support everyone for three days if needed. Plus, we regularly run drills with the pros from the Glendale Fire Department.

 

Local Heroes Connection: We're in close touch with the Glendale Police and Fire Departments. They keep an eye out for us and provide updates on safety procedures to ensure we're always in the loop.

 

Supervision Plan: Whether it's morning, break time, or after school, we've got a solid plan to watch over our students. Our goal is to keep a secure and loving environment where every student can flourish.

 

After School Pick-Up: When school's out, please wait in our designated pick-up area in the upper Basketball Courts. We ask that you stay within this area and avoid wandering onto campus unless you have an appointment.
