Our Open House began on August 15th, 2018 at 5:30 PM with an orientation for parents on how to utilize our online MMS portal in the Anita Torosian Literacy Center followed by class visitations where parents had the opportunity to meet their child's teacher. Detailed presentations gave insight as to how the class will be operated and how the minds of our scholars will be nurtured and cared for as they grow to become the innovators, leaders, collaborators, and life-long learners of the future! It was our sincere pleasure to welcome back our returning parents as well as meet our new members of the amazing Chamlian family!
We celebrated August 16th, 2018 as the bright and shining faces of our little Tigers lit up our campus! Kindergarten and First Grade Parents were welcomed to Chamlian with a delicious breakfast set up by our amazing Parent Support Committee, whose support and dedication to our school is an inspiration to us all. Our Kindergarten students were then led to Melanies Garden in Chamlian School to color in their leaves on the big Chamlian tree painted against the wall and our First Grade students went ahead and left their handprints in the cafeteria. Both are a beloved tradition here at our school to ensure that our students feel and know that they have roots at Chamlian and share a bond with fellow Tigers that can never be broken.
